MPS Infrastructure was established in 2015 with a clear mandate to develop and deliver high-impact energy and infrastructure solutions. The company was founded by Mr. Aaserod, who brought over four decades of international experience in complex project management, project structuring and financing, and company building across global energy and infrastructure markets.

Guided by Mr. Aaserod’s vision, MPS Infrastructure built a strong foundation in Africa and the Middle East, focusing on the development of bankable project structures and adopting a full value-chain approach—from early-stage development through execution and operations.

Following Mr. Aaserod’s passing, MPS Infrastructure has entered a new phase of growth under the leadership of a highly capable team with deep expertise in construction, delivery, and operational management. The company has strategically streamlined its project portfolio to focus on high-impact, execution-ready opportunities, with a particular emphasis on the emerging and high-potential market of Somaliland.
